Activating SOS on Apple Watch

Every now and then, we hear stories of how Apple devices have helped save people's lives. One feature that few may be aware of, is the ability to contact emergency service via an SOS mode which can be activated on an Apple Watch, and soon, your iPhone.

1. Press and hold the bottom side button
2. Swipe right on the SOS Emergency slider

Local EMS is then contacted.

In addition, you can also add your own personal emergency contacts, allowing them to receive a text message when SOS has been activated. Emergency contacts can be added using the Watch or Health app on your iPhone.

Apple September Keynote Confirmed

Apple this week sent out invitations confirming its fall keynote will occur on September 12, 2017, which will be held at the new Steve Jobs Theater on Apple's Campus.

Although not mentioned on the invitation, it's presumed Apple will be announcing new iPhone(s), Apple Watch, Apple TV, along with release dates for iOS 11 and macOS High Sirerra.
